Also, the 1880 Whithorn death registration details for Hugh PETTIGREW, and Elizabeth CRON/PETTIGREW, Whithorn 1899. There are other ways to get these, but the quickest and easiest is from Scotlandspeople. You will be in a much better position to plan your next move when you have the full details from those documents. You will also have original documentation, rather than second or third hand snippets.
