A lot of my ancestors lived in the parish of Kirkinner, so I've studied that area in detail, both on maps and genealogical records. I also concentrated on that area when I visited there in both 2004 qand 2006. Have you tried Multimap or Googlemap? Unless significant ruins remain, you may not see them on aerial views. I located some remains of the Ravenstone Mill in the parish of Sorbie, but there's not enough remaining to show on aerial maps.
