    3. Stewart, it`s interesting what you say about the tea dealers and policemen. One of my McMillan from ancestors worked in Ipswich as a tea trader and later returned to Dumfries. By the time of the 1891 census my great, great grandmother, Jessie McClure, had moved from Wigtown to Liverpool and she had Scotsmen, employed as policemen, living in her house. Don`t know if any of the following are of interest to anyone, but here are their names. Joseph Phormson? (difficult to read) 29? James Webster 25? John Yeoman 25?     3. Hello listers I know this is going to sound silly but are the Birth/Marriage/Death certificates in Scotland available to order on line - Like in England. I know there is ScotsOrigins. I am assuming that it is by letter and cheque to Edinburgh. I have to order some for my son-in-law and also for my COPELANDS - yes Bill still looking. Thanks for the help.
