This William Kelly is my grandfather. He was born in Westerly, Rhode Island in 1873 and came to Wigtown with his mother Margaret (nee McCluskey) following his father's death. His father, John Kelly had lived in Sorbie before going to America. William left Wigtown to make his home in Glasgow around 1900.
