Another Galloway Irish saga. My g.grandfather William Boyd, from Drumneil, Mochrum, was born in Ireland, much to the surprise of his many Canadian descendants who thought they were died in the wool Scots. My g.grandpa Davies was also from Ireland. G.grandpa Riddick was most likely from Kircubbin in County Down. Susan Scott, my g.grandma, was also from Ireland. Sure and begorrah, it's in us all!
