Charles Hope, minister, of Wandell and Lamingtoune, to the deep affliction of her bereaved husband and young family. - Mrs Hope was eldest daughter of the late John Afflect, Esq., Palmerstone, Chief Magistrate for the Burgh of Maxwelltown, and was nearly related to the ancient family of Conheath - her mother, Janet Fraser, being cousin to the deceased Mr Kirkpatrick, consul at Malaga, and grandfather of the Empress Eugenie.
