Thanks to the wonderful people on this list I have received more information in a few hours than I have found by myself in more than sixty years of searching. My folks sure had itchy feet! They seem to have lived in five different places over the course of a few years. No wonder I couldn't find them. One surprise is that my grandmother seems to have died before 1901. When I find the date of her death I can finally put her to rest. Many thanks to Meg, Anita, Nancy and Malcolm for helping me to solve a mystery.
