Hi All, Can anyone locate a William Wither b 1833 in Kirkcolm ? I can not find him on either the 1841 or 1851 censuses, His parents were I believe, William Wither(spoons) and Jane Ross m. c 1818. William should still have been in Kirkcolm in 1861 and 71 as his son William Armstrong was born there in 1865 and a daughter Mary in 1879. William Armstrong and Mary showed up in the 1901 census in Dumfriesshire. William A was head of household married to Agnes Graham and Mary his sister was living with them and their family.. William A and Agnes Graham were my grandparents. If William died in Kirkcolm where might he be buried? Also his wife Agnes McGuffie. Terri, USA
