Is anyone researching a Janet McCreadie, b. Nov 17 1860 Portpatrick, d. Aug 11 1937 in Yakima USA, Married a Hugh Kennedy abt 1853. I ask because I'm trying to find out more about the Kennedys that she married into. That Hugh Kennedy was probably born in Newry Co. Down. Thanks Ian Macwhirter

Hi Ian As you already know Jessie Janet McCreadie born 24 Feb 1853 is my husband's Great Grandmother - she however and her relatives were born in Glen Luce / New Luce / Old Luce. Not a million miles from Portpatrick and could well be related to the Janet McCreadie b 1860 you mentioned below. I'm afraid the only Kennedy I have is the possible wife of Patrick McWhirter born around 1750 which we all have in our files. Regards Margaret.
