    1. [WIG LIST] Help wanted for Davies

    3. Hello Listers. I need to be pointed in the right direction to help me to learn about my grandparents, James and Amelia Eleanora Davies. All that I have is the address that my father listed as next of kin in his war records. Dated 1916, James Davies lived first at : 125 Sycamore St. Ashington, Northumberland. This is pencilled out and the new address is: 20 North Row, West Slickman, Chopington, Northumberland. Although not mentioned, I believe my grandmother was alive at this time. The only relative with whom I keep in touch can't tell me a thing, and I have tried for years to find out about my grandparents who were married in Urr Parish in 1873; James from Stoneykirk and Amelia from Kelton Mains, Kirkcudbrightshire. Where do I go from here? Regards from rainwashed British Columbia. Olive.
