Hi all, Regrettably this is a blanket e-mail to all you helpful people on the Wig List, and not to mention, a long shot question. Would there happen to be anyone from BC in close proximity to Brian Minter Country Gardens (I believe in or near Chilliwack) that would be coming to the Hamilton-Toronto area this summer. They have a very rare tree (wollemi pine) that is only available from them as they seem to have exclusive Canadian rights whereas National Geographic has the same in the US. OR Someone in the contiunental US that would be coming to Southern Ontario this summer. I will check into any issues coming thru customs at the border if you could. Since I am 15 minutes from the Niagara/Toronto QEW I could. easily arrange to meet some helpful lister. I guess this stems from liking old things and this tree was rediscovered in 1994 in Oz (only ~100 in the wild) after being thought to be extinct for over 2,000,000 years. It first appeared 60 Million years ago. It is sort of a neat read as they are making it available as an 8-12" tree in a small pot. National Geo seems to have gotten the shipping part down whereas Minter Gardens would use a horrible option for transport "Greyhound Bus". Here is some interesting reading about it http://shop.nationalgeographic.com/jump.jsp?itemID=3288&itemType=PRODUCT Let me know if someone can help. Thanks Randy Hamilton, Ont Can
