I recently read an obituary of an 82 year old woman here in the US that requested a Scottish Celidh instead of a funeral . Could anyone englighten me about the Scottish Celidh. I googled the term and learned that it was a social dance performed in a circle. I'm interested in learning if this is a tradition in Scotland, or if this request might have been unique to this individual. Thank you
