Like Rob, my McCulloch family is proving to be a bit of a mystery. They do appear in Kirkcolm too, so may well be connected to Rob's family. I have a GORDON McCULLOCH who married Margaret KENYON. Margaret died Jun 1865 in Whithorn (listed as a widow) but no trace has been found of Gordon, where he came from, who his parents were, when he died, etc. Their 3 children that I know of are: - Mary (b. abt 1812 Kirkcolm, d. Sept 1880 Whithorn), married 1843 James NISH (children William, James, Mary, Agnes) - Thomas (b. Nov 1815 Kirkcolm, d. Nov 1876 Glasserton), married 1838 Jane WELLS (children Hugh, James, Richard, Mary, Janet, Annie, Elizabeth, Margaret) - Margaret (b. Oct 1818 Kirkcolm, d. Dec 1897 Garlieston) married 1838 Robert LITTLE (children John, Agnes, Nathaniel, Robert, Mary, Margaret, Nathan, Richard, Alexander, James) My line comes down from the marriage of Margaret to Robert LITTLE, then through their daughter Margaret (b. 1850 Sorbie) who in 1874 married James McCALLIE.
