I thought I’d add my McCulloch brick wall to the mix. I hit it with my gggGrandfather John McCulloch. He was born in Ireland around 1789 (1841 & 51 cencus’). His parent’s names on his death registration were Thomas McCulloch & Jane McClure. John married Margaret McMillan on June 1st 1815 at Kirkcolm. Their 13 surviving children were:- Thomas Mar 4th 1816 John Apr 4th 1818 died Aug 8th 1818 Jane Agnew Apr 22nd 1820 Hugh Feb 6th 1822 Margaret Apr 21st 1824 David Apr 10th 1826 John Jan 18th 1828 my ggGrandfather William Jun 17th 1830 James Jun 14th 1832 Samuel Jun 1st 1834 Jessie May 18th 1836 Mary Feb 18th 1838 Andrew Aug 1st 1840 I’ve been able to piece together quite a bit about this band of McCullochs from 1815 but am absolutely stonkered with the Irish connection. If anyone has a connection to this family I’d be happy to hear from them. Regards Rob in OZ _____ I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. Hi there I have McCullochs with various spellings, only related by marriage. I am at work at present, but just to add Mary Hannah McCulloch, married John Irvine.......this would have been in the mid-late 1800s I think...from memory. I will add more details when I can find them Thank you Kirstie ___________________________________________________________ To help you stay safe and secure online, we've developed the all new Yahoo!
