The more recent census transcriptions on Ancestry are riddled with transcription errors. As you can see, the Crone family name was transcribed as Crom in 1871. I checked Scotland's People and there wasn't anyone in Whithorn with the name "Crom" or "Cron", but there were eight with the surname Crone. When I went back to Ancestry there was only one Crone in Whithorn for the 1871 census - Eliza Crone, born East Indies, about 1821. The others had to be John and Elizabeth's family. The only placename I could find around Belfast that was even close to "Nevtin Ceardo" was Newtownbreda, a village in Belfast. You may want to check the 1861 census yourself (this can be done through Scotland's People).
