Hi Listers, My McTaggart ancestors were farmers at Glentarp, near Wigtown. I have looked up various placename lists and parish lists and can find no mention of a Glentarp. M'Kerlie makes no mention of Glentarp in his Lands and their Owners in Galloway. Has anyone heard of a place or farm callaed Glentarp? Regards,. Steve McTaggart.
