The earliest known record of its inhabitants is a marriage in 1821 between James McDOWEL and Mary Dickson Cairnfield. If any lister has any knowledge of the history of the Mill and/or of the descendants of any of its inhabitants,I should be very grateful to pass your information on and give you her email address.
