I posted a Marriage in 1858 and read that a Death in 1865 was found in Bridge of Bladnoch for William McCLELLAND. There were TWO McCLELLAND Deaths that year in the parish of Wigtown, here are both ..... Registered 8 Feb, Wm Carson, Registrar. Entry #16 - Thomas COWPER, Sailor, single. Died March 26, 5pm at Lochancroft Street aged 20y. Son of William COWPER, Labourer deceased and Jane COWPER ms RAE.
