Hi all, Can someone who has access to the 1861 census look up in the town of Wigtown all of the female married ladies bearing the surname McWilliam please. I am trying to find a first name for a Mrs McWilliam who died in Wigtown on Oct 2. 1853. This is a process of elimination. If you send the info back in the same format I would appreciate it In the 1851 census there are the following First name Age in 1851 Ann 40 Catherine 27 Elizabeth 60 Helen 46 Isabella 24 Janet 36 Mary 29 Sarah Ann 54 Violet 74 First name Age in 1861 ??????? ??
