Hello listers, Do any of you know of anyone who has researched former occupants of Kirkcowan Parish, like those on the 1684 census? I've noticed a few Barrony's with what looks like crofters living around on the land. It may be that these were old estates no longer existing. I'm particularly looking for information on one of those Barrony's by the name of Sleudinle and the McCrackens there, Robert and Gilbert. It looks like 12 crofts are listed on that estate.
