Hello all! I just want to say "thank you" to everyone who emailed me with information about my Nan's brothers, James and Frank McGuigan, and also the McGuigan wines from Australia!! As a descendant of the McGuigans (although I don't think of the wine making branch!) I'm sorry to say I haven't, as yet, tried their wine but I will most certainly do so in the very near future (a house move soon will be a good excuse!) Thank you to Diana Henry, Jean Old, Joyce Armstrong, Mike (sorry I don't know your surname) and Malcolm Lockerbie in particular who emailed me with lots of information and attachments relating to James McGuigan. I felt like a kid in a sweet shop reading the information and opening the attachments with shipping details which showed that James travelled to and from the USA on several occasions as an employee of Herbert Pulitzer and lived at some very exclusive London addresses! This again is proof of the kindness of the people on these lists and even if there is no information on ones family its nice to hear from other people on the lists.
