Hello all, This is a bit of a long shot but there are so many knowledgable people on these sites that I thought I'd have a go and see if anyone might be able to help me find the above. James and Frank McGuigan were the brothers of my grandmother, Mary Alice McGuigan, children of Alfred McGuigan and Maggie Jane Doherty of Newton Stewart. Up to the present time I haven't been able to find out what happened to them, where they went, whether they married, had children, or when/where they died. Someone very kindly emailed me copies of army records relating to another brother, Alfred McGuigan, who was killed in WW1 in Mesopotamia in 1917. One of the records is a statement of names and addresses of all relatives of the deceased soldier and gives details of James and Frank's addresses as Belgium (James, aged 23) and Germany (Frank, aged 19). I would really appreciate it if some kind soul could point me in the right direction to trace James and Frank and, ultimately, any offspring they may have had. Many thanks in advance.
