Hi everyone Seeking informatioon re parentage of Jennet McKAY born in Scotland 1812. She emigraged to Zorra, Ontario Canada and there married James McDONALD, who had earlier emigrated from Lairg with parents, Finlay & Eliza to Zorra in 1830. It was said that Jennet left behind a daughter, born out of wedlock, and the daughter's name is unknown but she grew up to be a 'lovely young lady'.
