    3. Hi List, I've just joined this list and am researching MACLENNAN, Murdoch, b. 1870 in Tongue. I believe he had brothers John (1873 b. in Durness) and Alexander (1878 b. Knockbain, Ross & C). I live in Canada and am not aware of any living descendants of these brothers. Their parents were John MACLENNAN (b. 1827ish) & Jane (MACKAY) MACLENNAN (b. 1835 in Tongue) BW Brenda the.triggersons@sympatico.ca

    3. Hi Brenda, I don't know if it is of any help, I have a Margaret McLennan who married a Charles McLean (possibly here in Australia) in 1866. I haven't even looked at this branch yet, but if you find a Margaret, I'd love to hear. It is possible her middle name is Ord which initially I thought odd but given that many are given mother's maiden names and their middle name, anything is possible!! I only have her year of marriage no other info. Good luck Amanda Brisbane, Australia ----- Original Message ----- From: The Triggersons <the.triggersons@sympatico.ca> To: <SCT-SUTHERLAND-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, May 31, 2001 9:04 AM Subject: MACLENNAN connection anyone? > Hi List, > I've just joined this list and am researching MACLENNAN, Murdoch, b. 1870 in > Tongue.
