    3. Hello Iain, Thank you for sharing this information. I think that the John Sutherland mentioned in the removal notice was my ancestor. He was a tenant to the Rev. Alexander Sage. I do not know where he and his family stayed until they sailed for British North America a few months later. Does your John Sutherland continue on at Brora after the summer of 1813? Ann Bannerman, I'm betting, was "Banntrach na h'ellich", the widow of the mill-lade. Her late husband, George Gunn was "Seoras Dalangall", of the family of Gunns from Dalangal. They also were tenants of the Rev. Sage. The IGI lists two children for Ann Bannerman and George Gunn: Benjamin, b. 5 Jun 1791 and Elizabeth, b. 20 Dec. 1793. Donald Sage gives two other children, William and Kate. Hugh Sutherland of Ferranach likely was this man (Kildonan OPR): 13 Jun 1801 Katharine Hugh Sutherland Isobel McKay Ferranach 17 May 1803 John Hugh Sutherland Isobel McKay Ferranach 15 May 1805 Jean Hugh Sutherland Isobel McKay Ferranach 31 Mar 1807 Christian Hugh Sutherland Isobel McKay Ferranach 26 Mar 1810 David Hugh Sutherland Isobel McKay Ferranach 15 Jan 1813 Mally Hugh Sutherland Isobel McKay Ferranach I found one William Sutherland from Kildonan in the OPR. His family included: 19 Mar 1805 Kenneth William Sutherland Janet Sutherland Kildonan 3 May 1807 Jean William Sutherland Janet Sutherland Kildonan Rena >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Original Message <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< On 5/10/2001, 4:48:18 PM, "Iain Sutherland" <iain_sutherland@totalise.co.uk> wrote regarding Some Clearance names : > Thanks to information received from a gentleman I have thanked privately I am chuffed to bits to have received a copy of a Court Process re Reisk ,Ferronich and Kildonan 1813 "Summons of Removing " The following people are named .
