Christine: You asked about a Munro family emigrating to Ontario, 1829. I found reference to an Angus Munro who was a District Councillor for the Township of West Zorra from 1846 until 1849. Any other information on names or d.o.b.? I'm sure there is a wealth of information about Munros in Ontario. There are Munros who live down the road from me in what used to be West Zorra.
