Hello Carolyn, I have a Margaret MURRAy born (I think) in Dornoch in 1798, the daughter of Thomas MURRAY and Christian MUNRO. Margaret had a twin sister, Elspet. Margaret Murray bore at least two, illegitimate children to Gordon CLUNES. I haven't the foggiest whather there might be a possible link to your people (though the names are promising).
