These estate papers that i'm reading on e-mail?. Iam going to write a little story that my mother told her children back about 1938, I was 12 yr's old and said quote; If we could trace our Sutherland ancestors back to Scotland you children would not have to work for the rest of your life. Then when I was 18 yrs old and in the Navy, I asked my mom about what she had said about not working the rest of our lives, she told me to forget about it because it would cost to much money to find out about it and that some of the relatives [That had money] weree going over to Scotland after the war to find what the story was on this matter. Now! I dont know if this story rings any bell's out there. I am 75 yrs old, just interested in my background not moola. We can talk about N.Z. My mothers first cousin Angus Sutherland now gone to the heavens, but was at the time living in N.S. Was writing to a Sutherland in N.Z. to try and trace some of the family in that area. His folks did'nt like the idea of him doing this because it would cost a lot of money [He had a few schecels,] But all I found was an enevelope, no address, no nothing.
