Hi Donald GORDON, born circa 1767, possibly son of William GORDON and Bessie MUNRO. Married Christian MACKAY, (1787-1871), daughter of David MACKAY and Christian ANDERSON, Torbreck, Rogart. Donald Gordon farmed at Cluaranich (or Gluaranich), Rogart. They had the following children born there: William GORDON, born 1805; David GORDON, born 1808; Henrietta, born 1811 died 1878, married John McDonald remained in Rogart; Christy GORDON, born 1812; Angus GORDON, born 1815; Robert GORDON, born 1819; John GORDON, born 1825 and Hugh GORDON, born 1830. With the exception of Henrietta none of these children appear on the later census records anywhere in Scotland. I believe they may have gone to Canada – anyone know?
