    3. Thankyou for this Rena. Fascinating. Here is a little bit of info on the George Gordon who married Harriet Mackay: GEORGE GORDON [1765-1822] married HARRIOT MACKAY [1766-1848] The Reverend George Gordon was the minister in Loth for 27 years. He is a son of Adam Gordon in Loth. Harriot Mackay was from Lairg. She is the daughter of Reverend Thomas Mackay of Lairg and his wife Margaret Montgomery. George and Harriot married in Lairg on 22 October 1798. They had at least two children: MARGARET, born 1803 [died 1829] [married James Anderson] and THOMAS, born 5 January 1808 Loth. Reverend George Gordon is buried in Loth. We do have a descendant of this family as a list member. If anyone relates contact me for his address. Rena, you also mention a Macdonald, violinist, died Goslpie, widow of Mr Gordon - anything further on them?
