It was suggested to me that I inquire on this site for information on my family. I'm looking in the Inverness area. I realize this is the Sutherland area but possibly someone may have some information that could help. I'm looking for the parents of John McCay/MacKay born approximately 1750-60's. He was married in Dores, Inverness in 1775. His children were born in Boleskine so that possibility exists that he was also, however, being married in Dores also lends a possibility. I went through the IGI in the LDS library yesterday but can't find any information on his birth only marriage and his children. Can anyone lend a hand with helping me solve this problem.
