Lori, I know this an impossible question. Family tale is that My Alex MacKenzies & Barbara Grant left Sutherland (Golspie) and sailed to Montreal 1829-1830. They spent the winter with their good friends the Gilcrists. Then headed to Onrtario in the spring. Did you have anyone in Montreal? I have not been able to find a Passinger list to pinpoint the actual Date of arrival.
