    3. Alec, whatever you do, do not throw the album away. (Yes, it's been known to happen). I have had access to a very old leather album with a music box in the back. The photos were taken in the 1800s of my great grandmothers family who hailed from Wales. Some had the address of the photographer on them but no notation as to who they are. I scanned the photos and put them into an album for myself and returned the original back to my Uncle. Recently I was holding a class on preserving photos and one lady was looking through this little album and recognised some of the faces. She has since shown me her photos and they are identical to some I have. Not only have I found a relative, but also some names to the faces that I thought I would never ever find.
