Great to read that their work is lighter this year following the mega clear up last year. The enclosure which contains Gabriel Reed's stone certainly did need attention. I wish you could all see the carpet of spring flowers which cover the ground at this time of year. Ron Patrick's gates certainly deserve recognition - a long way to come to paint some gates. We still need lots of help to carry on the work of POSH. We need donations to allow our work to go forward. Next month we are having a meeting with Rogart Heritage Society to discuss ways in which POSH can help with the large number of stones which have fallen and broken in St Callan's. We will also be looking at burial grounds in Assynt and Durness to gauge where POSH can be of most use. Your committee are dedicated to this worthwhile cause but can only do so much without funds. We do so very much appreciate all those who have helped us raise a good sum but as always need more. If you are not yet a POSH member please consider joining us. Every penny goes towards restoring the graveyards of Sutherland, final resting place of many of our ancestors.
