Kirk Session records of the Church of Scotland do exist for some parishes but these are held mainly by the Scottish Record Office in Edinburgh. I am not sure if there is a copy of the Kildonan and Loth ones in the local area. Anyone local answer this? Many of us would be interested. The only Kirk Session records I have read are Rogart Free Church and they are hard work! Fun also as all the fornications and illigitimates get a mention - real serious crime!
