Hello Ian Thanks for your kind offer of looking to see if some of my relations may be buried at Balnakiel. There are 3 that I know for sure died at Laid, Durness. Hughina Gunn - died 28/01/1923 Age 94 (Wow!) Barbara Morrison - died 1906 Age 42 John Morrison - died 1892 Age 40 If you need to know any other details such as next of kin, cause of death, place/date of birth, then please let me know. Hughina was an unmarried crofter who was the mother of Barbara Morrison (nee Falconer). Barbara married John Morrison. John was a fisherman.
