This may be of interest / In 2002 I employed a researcher to go to the National Library of Scotland re. my elusive James MacBeath who according to the O.P.R. record of his wedding was " a soldier in the 2nd. S.F.R." which I believe was the 2nd Sutherland Fencibles 1792?-1798. Looking through paperwork tonight I thought the reply might be of interest.
