    3. Hello List I have enjoyed being on the List, seeing nice, familiar names (I've been 'doing' my Aberdeen/Banff side and seldom see those names). Here are my difficult, current research, paternal ancestors - who I hope will jog someone's interest and/or association. Roderick MacLeod m Catharine MacLeod Son Murdoch MacLeod, born abt 1772, Strathpolly, dead before 1861 His children (known) 1) Roderick MacLeod, tenant b. abt 1805, married to Barbara MacLeod Kenneth, b. abt 1811, married ?, children Catherine 1833 & Mary 1837 Mary, b. abt 1816, married a Maclean - children, John 1837 & Roderick 1839 I'm OK with 1) Roderick and Barbara MacLeod's son Alexander and down that line to myself, but am unsure where to look for his parents and grandparents' source. Hector Mackenzie b. abt 1805 - poss parents Duncan Mackenzie and Margaret Mackenzie he married Henrietta Campbell, b abt 1802, died 5 Feb 1860 her parents Kenneth Campbell and Mary Graham Dugald Matheson, b abt 1796, possibly Skye died 7 nov 1865 married Catherine Maclean, b. abt 1807 Dugald's parents Murdoch Matheson and Mary Matheson Murdoch Mackenzie married 1837 to Williamina MacLeod all that I know is that they were both said to be not dead 1865 They had Williamina Mackenzie b. abt 1842 who amrried John Matheson (lived on Tanera, but Williamina died Inver, Tain May 1933) All of this side = MacLeod, Matheson & Mackenzie, ended up in Lochbroom, though the MacLeod connection went over to Brora and the Mathesons went to Inver and Tain.
