Hi Everyone, I have decided since joining this list that my family history that was pasted down to me needs further investigation. Thanks to Sheila and Christine I might just be on the right track. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. In question is the parents of Duncan Munro married in Dornoch Nov 30 1797. Family history says he is the son of John Munro and Isabell Ross born Kiltearn.Ross/Cromarty. Duncan was a weaver and married Christina Murray and they had the following children all born Cambusavie,Dornoch. John born Aug 16th 1799, Hugh born Sept 16 1801, Erica alias Henrietta, born May 9th 1806. Sheila writes that she found another son of Duncan and Christina name Angus who died at the age of 90,23rd of April 1889. Is it possible that Hugh and Angus are twins or are one and the same? Should I be looking for a John Munro father of Duncan and a Hugh or Angus Murray father of Christina?? Thanks for the help, sorry to rattle on soooooo Carolyn
