    3. I always understood that Lady's Loch was a wee place has anybody any idea how many families lived there? In 1859 when John Sutherland aged 47 married Jessie Bannerman both lived at Lady's Loch. John's parents John Sutherland and Henrietta (McKay ) lived at Lady's Loch also.No relationship between the 2 Sutherland families is known but I have a Death Certificate 1867 for Margaret McBeath at Doll the daughter of Isabella Ross m.s. 3. Hi Iain, Yes, you are correct . Ladys Loch is just a small group of houses. From what I remember in the 1940's there were six inhabitated houses and one ruin. There were two families of Sutherlands lived there at that time, as far as I know they were not related.
