Robin - Does ROC stand for Ross & Cromarty? If so, do you have any connection to Isabel Cameron, b. 1797 or 1800, died 1872 in Oxford Co., Ontario? She married Alexander Kennedy in Kincardine, R&C, in 1826 and had William, Alexandrina (Lexie), Donald, Nancy, James and Mary. Hi Diane Yes ROC does stand for Ross and Cromarty. Do you have any idea who your Isabel's parents were or where she was born? At this point I have not been able to find much on my Cameron yet, I know her name was either Lilly or Helen, she married Andrew Munro and had at least 4 children born in Tain area ROC.
