    3. Hello all, Regarding a reply from Donald Campbell: I should have stated that Colin Campbell Sutherland was the ggrandson Of John Sutherland and Janet Murray who emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1831. We believe John's mother to be a Janet Campbell. Her sister was Katherine Campbell. Katherine's grave is in Earltown, next to her son Duncan Sutherland who also came out in 1831. The Campbell sisters had two brothers, Donald and Duncan Campbell who both came to Nova Scotia with rather large families. Records for Donald indicate he emigrated from Clyne. While Duncan Campbell had children born in Rogart at Dalbain, Tannachy, Inischemy, and Knockarthur. There is some evidence to suggest that John SUtherland and his cousin Duncan originated in or near Dalreavoch. We have a published book on this matter entitled "Donald Campbell, Duncan Campbell and "Coach" Sutherlands: Sutherlandshire to Pictou County" by Joan Bourque Campbell, published in 1987.
