    3. Points well made Fraser. I think the legal difference is that our's is an acronym of a group of words and as Christine notes, we are not taking any liberties or association to Posh Spice. Not sure about Sara's point though. Writing a timid letter is fraught with danger, better to leave it alone completely me thinks. Sara's idea however did raise a point - I wonder, not being right into Posh (of the little letter variety) and the Spice Girls about her origins - does she have her roots in Sutherland perchance? The reason for the question is related to us potentially securing a high profile patron - something which always has considerable promotional and profile advantages to a group such as ours. Not that Posh Spice has any appeal to me at all, but one does reflect on the potential benefits a Patron might bring to us. Perhaps something the Committee might consider at some stage. Just a thought. The trouble is that whoever wins might be just that much more touchy about others using " their " trademark and this may even impact on ourselves, despite the fact that we might be very small beer in a national sense. Would P.O.S.H. count as a different trademark to POSH? This would seem to be getting into murky water--I'm almost sorry I brought it up in the first place!! 3. I was thinking of the publicity spin-off --- but perhaps a bad idea.
