I would hate to think the archives would 'bin' the originals. We all know about computer crashes I'm sure, and as technology is zipping along at an extremely fast pace we may not be able to read these digitised copies on newer computers unless the copies get updated along with the computers. I'm sure most of us remember the single speed CDROMs. Yep, it was only 4 or 5 years ago. What are we up to now? 48+! And you can't read those old CDs anymore. What happens? We 'bin' them!!
