Hello, As I’ve just joined this list, may I ask if anyone out there has common links with my family listed below: Robert SUTHERLAND married Isabel (Bell) MACINTOSH on 7 Oct 1810 at St. Andrew’s, Golspie. They are both buried in the old kirkyard. Robert was a farm grieve at Dunrobin and at some time possibly lived at Dunbeath. His gravestone gives a date of death 4 Jun 1841 age 50 and his wife’s inscription gives her date of death 10 Dec 1862 aged 71. They had eleven children: John, Catharine, George, Donald, Margaret, Robert, Margaret, Isabel (Bell), Janet, unknown, & Nancy. Isabel married John McKenzie 7 Jan 1848 at Golspie and had 11 children and at least 65 grandchildren. John was an elder in the Free Kirk. There must be some relations out there !
