I was at Cavaick last weekend visiting my lifelong friend Richard Bremner a decendant of "Wemyss Cavaick" who still lives in the family home. I remember "Wemyss" visiting his homeland when I was a small boy. To extend on Isabellas point about Cavaick (various spelling as is so often the case in the Highlands) being close to Brochrobbie and Badnellan is correct. Brochrobbie was generally seen as the area below Cavaick close to the river. The most easterly house in Badnellan is just above Cavaick. Ive seen some overlap in Brochrobbie, Badnellan and Cavaick when checking records. Grant
