Dear June, I'm a little late at sorting through all our e-mail but your message of Feb 4th caught my eye again. We also have roots with Alexander MANSON and Ephie MCKAY. My husband, Tom, is descended from Jennet MANSON, b Oct 22, 1817, m George MCKAY Jan 27, 1837. One of their children was Hugh MCKAY, b Aug 1844, married Margaret MCLEOD and down. It is amazing at how often the MCKAYs and MANSONs married. Our family settled in Huron County, Ontario. I have not had much success developing the interest of our family in their MCKAY/MANSON roots!
