Hi All, I noticed the surgeon for the Local Militia list assembled for training at Dornoch in 1813 was William Ross. By 1828 he was Assistant Surgeon of 7th Dragoon Guards and married Georgina Reed in the same year. Georgina was the daughter of Gabriel Reed who had the sheep farm at Kilcalmkill. Can anyone tell me anything more about William Ross and his family? Thanks, Ian
