In 1824 I have a Gentleman? who was fined £2.00 for "uncleaness" by the Church of Scotland around this time he had a son. In 1835 the same gentleman had another son and was fined again for " fornication with ---- " by the Church of Scotland Question is is this the same Crime with a different name?
