I am searching for the birth record of Neil McKay born August 9, 1830 to Robert McKay and Elizabeth Gunn. We are unsure of his birth place except that it is probably Sutherland or Caithness. There is no record of his birth or baptism on the IGI; nor is there a record of his parents' marriage. Robert died in Grey County, Ontario in 1874 at 79 years of age. We think maybe Elizabeth died in Scotland. Any help is much appreciated. Sincerely, Carol Small
